Good pictures Steve. I didn't realise the video was taken underneath a motorway bridge - it looks completely subterranean. It was a great exhibition. I enjoyed the symposium too. Got my copy of Laura Oldfield Ford's Savage Messiah through the post today, as well as Owen Hatherley's A New Kind of Bleak: Journeys Through Urban Britain, which also has her illustrations at the start of each chapter (two of which cover Plymouth and Bristol).
ReplyDeleteThanks Jez - Heard that the symposium was good - and well attended. They had Laura Oldfield Ford's book in the gallery yesterday (a bit late as the exhibition closed today). Looking through it, there was some really great stuff - it has made me view her in a totally different light. The pictures in the exhibition clearly only tell a small part of her story.
