Weezer and the Flaming Lips - Sometime in NYC

I usually only blog about stuff I've seen or done etc but this is a case of wishful thinking ... I'm a big fan of the Flaming Lips (and face it - Wayne Coyne's posts are pretty much the only thing worth tuning-in to Twitter for).

Weezer and the Lips have been sharing the stage for a series of shows. As pastemagazine.com says: "The theatrical craziness of the Lips meets the nerd rock of Weezer all in one set. Think Rivers Cuomo and Wayne Coyne both rolling around in Coyne’s signature space balls and singing. Sheer madness.”

The video below is the best I have seen of Weezer and the Lips on stage together - performing She Don’t Use Jelly and Undone in NYC. It really conveys the atmosphere of what it must have been like to be there. As the guy says: "Awesome show ender!" Enjoy ...
