They're amazing. Once you've hunkered down to get a close look, you get completely lost in them. It was the one in your last but one photo which I saw, with its descending canal of light. I love the way it makes so much imaginative use of discarded, cannibalized electronic junk. They had Laura Oldfield Ford's book in the gallery yesterday (a bit late as the exhibition closed today). Looking through it, there was some really great stuff - it has made me view her in a totally different light. The pictures in the exhibition clearly only tell a small part of her story.Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06090553216395245767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3346080269357348334.post-299042944889755042014-05-02T22:00:50.257+01:002014-05-02T22:00:50.257+01:00Good pictures Steve. I enjoyed the symposium too. Got my copy of Laura Oldfield Ford's Savage Messiah through the post today, as well as Owen Hatherley's A New Kind of Bleak: Journeys Through Urban Britain, which also has her illustrations at the start of each chapter (two of which cover Plymouth and Bristol).
